The Wheel
Set it, spin itWhat Makes A Spin Fair
How it worksA wheel only settles an argument if nobody can see it coming.
Equal slices
Every option takes exactly the same arc, so the odds are one over the number of options — no more, no less.
5 options = 20% each
The landing is drawn first
The winner is chosen before the wheel moves and the animation is built to end there. The spin is a performance, not the draw.
Pick, then spin
Duplicates raise the odds
Writing the same option twice gives it two slices. That is sometimes what you want — just know you are doing it.
Twice in = double the chance
Respins are choosing
Spinning until you like the answer is picking, not drawing. Decide how many spins you get before the first one.
Agree the count first
Questions
03How many options can I add?
Twenty. Past that the slices get too narrow to read on a phone.
Can I weight one option more heavily?
Add it more than once. Two entries of the same word take two slices.
Is anything saved?
No. The wheel lives in this page and disappears on reload.
